ATV Safety Training Makes a Difference in Minnesota

Some folks don't want to hear it because it will make their cause, their motives and their mission obsolete, but ATV safety training makes a difference. I have been involved in several (albeit short) discussion with people trying to advocate a ban on kids riding ATVs. They always seem to end (not always politely) when I ask them to justify an all out ban of children riding any ATV over education and safety legislation.
Cook County (Mn) ATV Club was recently attacked by an article likening it's members to thugs. The reply was very civil...
We want to assure Mr. Haluska that the Cook County ATV Club has never, in any way, encouraged our members to "go after" anyone. We have never meant to be bullies and it is disheartening to be perceived that way. Mr. Haluska lumps members of the Cook County ATV Club in the same category as the criminals who terrorized campers in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, a terrible insult.
They (Cook County ATV Club) also pointed out that ATV related injuries have gone down last year as a result of, wait for it.... E D U C A T I O N!
