Yamaha Fighting Injured After ATV Brake Defect Cases

After a recall 3 years ago over faulty rear brakes on Yamaha Raptor links

660R ATVs, the manufacturer is still trying to hold out against lawsuits against them for injuries received as a result of the faulty brakes.

Seems to me that if they issued a recall on the item, they know it's a problem. Why fight the lawsuit? Inquiring minds want to know.l

My son had a terrible accident and blames the brakes. Response from: Matt (01/28/08 5:31am) It is possible that there's a problem with the brakes, yes. The 660 is a huge, powerful machine. It's meant for adult riders. Let me ask you this.. is it also possible that it is too big for your son and that is the cause of his terrible crash? I hope he's ok.
