We Sometimes Fall Because we go into corners too fast. Going into a corner too fast is pretty similar to what we discussed earlier about going in too hot. But this topic is more focused on typical corner entry speeds, not the occasion when we over-estimate the required corner speed.
Road racers have been going into corners slower and exiting faster since the very first road race. They do it because it works. It works for street riders too. Not only does it get you through a corner faster, it gets you through a corner safer. A panic situation is much easier to deal with and has a higher success rate if you're not already pushing the limits of turning and braking when you get into the panic situation.
Slowing down in the entry will also make you smoother when riding. Being on the cutting edge means any abrupt change will have a much more profound effect on the bike's ability to do what you want it to, so being smooth in the corners will reap great benefits.
