We Sometimes Fall Because we lose focus. As we've discussed already, today's sport bikes are very quick and very fast. They can accelerate at astonishing rates, and can stop on a dime. They're faster than just about any production vehicle on the road, and demand your full and un-divided attention.
At 60 mph, your bike is moving at 88 feet per second. That means in the blink of an eye, you can travel almost 30 feet. In an emergency situation, 30 feet can mean the difference between making it around a corner and ending up in the guard rail. Keep in mind that most modern sport bikes are capable of going over 60 mph in first gear.
One reason for people losing focus is because they're thinking back to that last turn and how they could have done it better if they changed this or that. You can't dwell on the past. Not even for a second. There's nothing you can change about it, so move on and focus on getting the next one right.
