Update: Brillion the ATV Friendly City
Filed in archive OHV Areas on July 27, 2007
Last month I reported about a city in wisconsin, Brillion, that was tauted as the "First City to be a State Approved ATV Park"
Well, after a couple of months of operation, Brillion has issued what one might call a "report card". Bottom line is that there hasn't been one complaint in the city about the new ordinance that allows for the registration of stock ATVs to be driven on city streets.
The city has already covered it's operating costs with the registration of over 40 OHVs already. There is at least one other city following suit, with several others already in the planning stages of similar laws. If this catches on, it could greatly reduce the amount of pollution, congestion and other issues having to do with the removal of big vehicles to go short distances.
