Treats In The Desert
Filed in archive Videos by Matt on March 14, 2007

You can almost see the excitement from under his helmet. Riding a quad is fun, but for Cz, the chance to ride on dad's quad is always a treat. Cz has spent just about as much time riding with me as he's spent riding both the gas and the electric quads by himself. That's largely because of the hours of "training" we've done at the back yard track at our home. But much of it is also because he just likes to ride with me.

His little brother, Aj, doesn't have much choice yet, and he has to ride with me because his electric quad doesn't have the traction to go in the deep sand. (Keep in mind, he's not even two yet and can already ride the electric quad by himself.)

In this video I was getting ready to go on a ride with Big Mike and Zach, but had to take the kids (at different times) for a ride up and over the hill first. Cz gets to go first, mostly because Aj didn't see us getting ready, or he would have surely tried to get on first. Then it was Aj's turn. Only problem was Aj didn't have a helmet. You can't see it in the video, but he was actually very patient about waiting for mom to go get his helmet before we took off. Some times he's just ok with sitting on the quad and doesn't always have to go for a ride.
