Take ATV Registration Away From Deadbeat Dads

Many states have laws that were made to encourage deadbeats to pay up. Things like auto registration denial etc.
In an effort to get more people to pay, they're trying to do the same thing in Maine with ATVs and Snowmobiles that they do with auto registration, and hunting/fishing licensing, and other professional licensing.
I'm not a big fan of deadbeats, but I'm on the fence about this. I guess it's because of a law that was enacted last year that gave the state access to cell phone records of deadbeats.

I really think this is a good idea. People need to pay up or not ride! and if you are a deadbeat you deserve to have your cell phone records looked at!

James, While I totally agree that deadbeats need to pay what’s owed, I also think you should be careful not to “chip away” too much of someone else’s freedom based on what you and I may perceive to be reasonable.

Matt now dont you think if you act irresponsibly there should be consequences to your actions? Pay your bills and get your freedom back
