Rhinos Require Common Sense for Safety, Too
Filed in archive ATV Safety by Matt on December 13, 2007

I was reading a story about a 10 year old kid who was riding a Rhino (similar to a golf cart, only on steroids.) The Rhino was being driving in the snow on the families ranch, there were two people in the Rhino.. They must have been going pretty fast, because the article said that when he hit dirt, he began to fish-tail. What ever the cause, the driver over-corrected and flipped the Rhino, and the passenger was ejected. The Rhino landed on top of him, pinning him down. He was able to be pulled from under the Rhino, and life-flighted to the hospital.
The point here is that while you may think you're safe inside a Rhino, as compared to an ATV or motorcycle, you are still at risk of being ejected. Wear your seat belt!
