I was doing my daily research on ATV accidents when I found a forum called Modern Mom. They are having a discussion and poll called "Are ATVs safe for families with young children"

Aside from the fact that the poll is currently 11 to 2 against, there are a few good discussions going on there. There are a few that are un-educated as well. (No offense, ladies).

It sounds like the thread's started is just looking for excuses to give her hubby about why they shouldn't own an ATV. Luckily there's a couple people in there that told the truth, but I don't know if it fell on deaf ears. Either way, it's nice to see these things being discussed, all it can do is help raise awareness of safety issues, and that's the number one priority right now. (Followed closely by the ever-dwindling amount of riding area, which was also discussed on the forum.)
