Mountain Ridge Trails Resort, an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) park, has been closed by PA State Environmental Officials. They closed it because the park does not have the required permits needed for things like erosion control, storm water discharge and stream crossing permits.
Stream crossing permits?!?!?!
The Department of Environmental Protection said they have been out there personally to try to get the park owners to get the proper permits but they fail to comply. So they got closed.
The Department of Environmental Protection said they had not received a permit application yet. I wonder if they're just going to leave it closed.
