Oregon Parks and Rec Department Looking for Representitive for ATVs
Filed in archive News on August 27, 2007
If you live (and ride ATVs) in Oregon and would like to help make a difference, the Oregon Parks and recreation Department is looking for a volunteer to represent ATVers and other off road enthusiasts for the ATV Account Allocation Committee.
There are seven people on the committee and members serve four years and attend a few public meetings annually. You can help make a difference in getting more government funding to acquire, develop and maintain All Terrain Vehicle recreation areas. They also provided safety training and education, something the ATV community could really use a lot of.
You have until 5 p.m. Wednesday to submit an application.
