New York 4-H Group and ATV Safety Institute Offer Safety Classes
Filed in archive ATV Safety on January 24, 2008

Local and national 4-H Youth Development groups have raised funds and teamed up with the ATV Safety Institute to allow parents and children to take an ATV safety class to learn more about all terrain vehicles. Sessions are from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 28-30 and 5-8 p.m. Jan. 31 at Kingston High School, 403 Broadway.
This service is available due to a grant awarded by the National 4-H Council as part of the 4-H ATV Safety Grant Program, a collaboration among local 4-H Programs, the national 4-H Youth Development Program and the ATV Safety Institute.
The fee is $10 for all youth ages 10-17.
Registration is required as space is very limited. Forms can be downloaded at http://counties.cce.cornell.edu/ulster in the 4-H Youth Development Program section, or you can call 845-340-3990 or e-mail psz2@cornell.edu for more information.
