It seems there's a guy with a few hundred acres of woods who is attempting to convert it into a campground/OHV park called All Wheels Off-Road Park and Camping. His plan? To produce roughly 20 miles of rugged terrain for ATVs, motorcycles, jeeps, 4x4s etc.
His motivation is two-fold; He wants to create more areas for people to ride because he sees how quickly the few remaining open trails are being closed, and he wants to find a way to offset the property tax on the land.
Don Arel said he will not be doing this as a public venture to begin with until he finds out if there's going to be enough interest. He is seeking volunteers to help clear the land and make the trails, for which he will be trading free camping and riding on the property.
