The All Terrain Vehicle Association of Minnesota has joined the legal fight against over-bearing organizations like the Sierra Club and Defenders of Wildlife over the Superior National Forest in that area.
They are teaming up with the BlueRibbon Coalition and were granted "intervenor status" by a court order to challenge a case brought on by the Sierra Club who claims the Revised Forest Plan for Minnesota's Superior National Forest is somehow flawed where it pertains to vehicle planning, the road and trail inventory and other "baseline data" that was used to develop the Forest plan.
ATVAM President Phill Morud said:
"We entered this suit to make sure that vehicles remain an important part of the recreational picture in the Forest,"
