Man Indicted in Yom Kippur ATV Death of Girl, 9

Last Yom Kippur, a young girl was run over and killed by a guy on an ATV in Shibli in the Galilee. The guy riding the quad, and his friend who was riding on the back, have been indicted. The driver was originally facing murder charges, but for some reason it's been dropped to manslaughter. His friend was implicated for leaving the scene, and will also be charged with manslaughter.

The sad part about this story is that it appears (at least to me) that this event was somewhat motivated. A Couple of weeks before Yom Kippur, the guy on the quad was stopped by officers for Reckless driving, and was quoted as saying something to the effect of "wait 'til you see what we do on Yom Kippur". He was also reported to have tried to run over two other residents of the town before he ran over that little girl.
