The things I'll always remember about being at the first MotoGP held on American Soil in a decade will hold memories like the excitement in the air because of the GP being back, the roar of the bikes as they all head out for the first lap as viewed from Turn 2 at full speed, or seeing Nicky Hayden completely own the track that weekend and then parading his father around for a victory lap.
Some others will remember things much differently.
Complacency can be dangerous. Don't assume that just because you're on a track, and behind a pace car, things can't go wrong.
