La ATV Park to Open Amidst Angst
Locals afraid ATV Park will ruin their way of life
A 500+ acre All Terrain Vehicle / Off Highway Vehicle park called High Lifter is set to open in a few months near Shreveport, La. The park will have trails, a racetrack, a mud hole and a camping area. A park that big will certainly bring a large amount of tourists in to the area each year as more and more existing parks are being closed, and as expected, nearby residents are not happy about it.
I don't know how close to homes this park will be, but I do know the initial opening will only be the start, as they hope to eventually become one of the premier parks in the nation.
It sucks that a few residents will be inconvenienced, but hopefully they will take advantage of the situation and get in a position to enjoy the benefits that come with it, or perhaps even enjoy the facilities themselves.

it would be nice to have something close. let me know when and where it will open and directions.
