Kern Co Fire Caused by ATVs
Residents are mad because Kern County Fire Department ground crews reportedly did not respond to calls from residents whose property was threatened by fire. Some residents are claiming that the fire was caused by ATVs riding in the area.
Kern Co Fire Chief says the reason ground crews were not seen was because of how difficult it was to get to the fire. Several homes were destroyed, and over 11,000 acres burned.
