These guys are pretty good at jumping. They're doing just about everything right. They've got spotters, they're landing in an area that's pretty much empty from other desert goers, they've got the proper safety equipment on. Everything looks good.
About a minute into the video, you'll see one of the riders picking up his bike off the ground. But it's not from jumping and landing badly, it's from trying to turn. I guess that takes more practice than jumping does.
Not a problem. They continue on with their jumps, even taking their hands off the bars from time to time, doing more tandems etc. Then at about 2 minutes into the video, you'll see our brave rider dump it yet again while trying to turn. You can hear my wife cheering them on. She's not one to let something like that go un-noticed.
