Inspector Will Seal Abandoned Mines

My answer was multi-fold, but ended with the idea that the State of Arizona is responsible for making these mines less of a danger. especially in a state where ATVs are so popular and widely used.
The state's top Mine Inspector, Joe Hart, today announced
"We've got to bite the bullet. Instead of spending more money doing studies and everything to figure out what we're going to do instead of just doing it," Hart said. "It's not rocket science. We can dig a hole and we can darn sure fill it back up."
But at $16,000.00 per hole, and a budget to fill some whopping three mines this year, I think we can do better. Like maybe a few sticks of dynamite in each hole. It would implode the hole, and you'd have a much more usable bowl, in stead of a deadly mine.
