Flat Tire

It's a well know fact that your tires are one of the most important things that keeps you and your (insert your favorite on/off road vehicle here) moving smoothly over what ever terrain you're riding on. Flat tires can be caused by many different things, including wear (cracking etc), getting punctured by nails, rockslinks, stickers or any other sharp object you may happen to run over, and even by jumping, (well, more accurately, by landing after a jump).

In this particular case I'm not sure what caused the tire to go flat, but tried I lead mom to believe it was the massive air she got when jumping as she came over the bump. I don't think she bought it. Only because she didn't even realize the tire was. The tires on these machines seem to be pretty tough, and in this case the flat tire didn't even allow for the rim to hit the ground.

That's not always the case, though, so don't take your tires for granted. Check them at least visibly before each ride.
