ATV Safety
by Matt on January 7, 2008
I just returned from a nice vacation, and spent a full week in the sand dunes of the ISDRA in So Cal with my family and some friends. I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I saw literally thousands of people out there riding, having fun, being safe and responsible, and being respectful of the land and people around them.
On the second day there, there was an accident involving a 12 or 13 year old in the Sand Drags. I haven't been able to verify yet, but apparently, the youth was riding on the drags without supervision and without being instructed on how to do it safely.
