Dinosaurs Used an ATV Park 190 Million Years Ago
Filed in archive Other by Matt on November 30, 2007

Well, not really, but they roamed where an ATV park sits today. Or used to sit, as it were.
Literally thousands of dinosaur tracks believed to be nearly 200 million years old have been found in Southern Utah Near Coral Pink Sand Dunes. There are tracks from at least six different species of dinosaur there.
The site is about 5 miles southwest of Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park on Bureau of Land Management
property, was reported to the BLM by hunters in the area. Among the prints were three-toed crocodiles and a 35-foot-long, four-toed plant-eater called a prosauropod - The site is less than 100 square yards, and was immediately closed to ATV and OHV activity. I don't think many people will complain about that closure. At least I hope not. Some of the tracks were "scarred" by tire marks.
