Debate on Proposed ATV Park Gets Green Panties in a Wad

In response to a comment stating that ATVs are responsible for broken glass, destroying entire eco-systems, and indeed, causing global warming on Mars, I was going to say something to The effect that:

I agree with the broken glass. I see hikers throwing bottles on the ground all the time. It's really sad how so many tree hugging liberals can be so hypocritical and try to blame everything bad on everyone but themselves.

ATVing is a multi-billion dollar recreational activity that when done properly is safe, fun and respectful to nature. If all you want to see is the bad, then that's all you're going to see. Too bad you're so closed minded that you can only hate things you don't understand.

Personally, I absolutely LOVE hiking. There are many trails very near to my home. I also enjoy jumping on the quad with my kids and zooming around, having fun without hurting anyone, and more than likely un-intentionally pissing off people I might be hiking with tomorrow. :)

But I figured I'd just come here and do my rant, then leave a link over there for it.
