For the 3rd year in a row, Cycle Gear has donated money to the Blue Ribbon Coalition to help keep land open for responsible off-road use.
BENICIA, CA (February 9th) -- The country's largest and fastest growing retailer of motorcycle apparel and accessories presented a $10,000 dollar check today to a national trail recreation group to promote and protect responsible off-road access to public lands. Cycle Gear made the donation to the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) at the company's headquarters in Benicia, California.
There has been a large push in the last several years to close public land to OHV use. Using everything from threatened species to plans for geothermal development, the desire to close what few off-road areas that remain is growing.
Having sponsors like Cycle Gear helping fight the battle is a good thing and I urge you to patronize them. I also urge you to use respect when you go off-roading.
