Even though the United States has reduced it's CO2 emissions by 1.4% last year, there are still those that think the US (Conservatives in particular, since it seems there are many more Conservative OHVers or ATV riders than Liberals), is destroying the environment. But if you look at places like China, who last year increased their CO2 output by 9 percent, (Yes, INCREASED by 9%, enough to pass the US as the biggest polluter, (Thanks Kyoto!)), you should be able to deduce that the US is doing better than most nations when it comes to curbing so-called global warming.

What it boils down to is this: I don't believe humans are largely responsible for any global warming that might be happening. I don't even know that IF it's happening, that it's a bad thing. Neither does ANYONE ELSE!. But we still need to be aware of pollution in general, because that IS a bad thing. I lived in San Bernardino 20-30 years ago, it was nasty sitting up on Arrowhead Mtn looking down and not being able to see the ground from all the smog.

So when you're out riding, take care to adhere to these principals...
