ATVers Fined/Jailed Because No Laws to Enforce OHVs
I don't know how I missed this one, but Jim, the 4x4 Guide over at About.com caught it... Seems there's a beach in Hatteras, Virginia that a Federal Judge has assigned fines and jail time to for riding on the beach because, according to Jim:
because the National Park "does not have regulations in place to govern ORV traffic."

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and ask; where's the justification for this? Is this Federal U.S. District Judge Terrence Boyle a dictator? How can you justify 6 months in jail for riding somewhere where there is no regulation concerning riding?

It's bad enough we've got environmental nut jobs that lie, cheat and steal to get more areas closed, but now we've got activist Federal Judges too?
