ATV Rescue Vehicles Getting Popular

Some good news coming out of Harrisburg, VA. Fire and rescue crews are using three All Terrain Vehicles to assist them in their efforts throughout the county. The six-wheeled ATVs have been key in getting Fire fighting equipment to remote areas, as well as providing rescue services that have never been available before without the use of a helicopter.
Some of these units can carry close to 100 gallons of water, foam, equipment etc. The service they provide to residents of mountain areas and other places where it's hard to reach by car or truck, will be invaluable.
They nailed it when they said:
While cars and trucks move when they hear a fire siren, trees and debris will not.
