ATV Legislation, It’s Never Enough for Some People
Oklahoma's Ada Evening News is saying new helmet laws are not enough. They want more. They won't say what, except that the new helmet laws in Oklahoma should apply on, wait for it….
private property!
That's right! They want the Feds to control what you do on private property as well as public property. Now don't get me wrong, I think helmets are a good thing, and I (almost) always wear one. (Always when I'm riding anything more than first gear putting in the back yard with my sons on their quads, (2 and 4)).
I just think the government has enough rules to *cough*enforce*cough*. They don't need to worry about what I do on my own propert.
