OHV Areas

Lets just close everything! That way we'll have more illegal ATV activity than ever!
Utah is banning ATVs from a south eastern Utah canyon, because someone
"...saw a trail that was, what I would call, too close to one particular archaeological site that certainly has the potential for causing damage," Stevens said.
So let me get this straight ... there's a trail by part of an 1,800 year old Anasazi ruin, and they want to shut down the entire canyon!?!?
Are you kidding me? For crying out loud, block access to the ruins and leave the rest of it alone. What are they trying to do, create more illegal ATV activity? That's exactly what's going to happen if they close the entire area. People will ride, even if you try to ban them. If you give them a place to ride, they'll more than likely ride there instead of going places you don't want them.
