The problem they're having is enforcing a rule (largely enacted because a few people think it's OK to ride without any regard for those around them, thanks!) limiting noise levels because they don't have a decibel meter. This has led to a proposed ordinance that would deal with that problem without the need to have a decibel meter, by prohibiting people from riding within 50 feet of someone else's property.
Is it just me, or is this a blatant case of government overstepping the boundaries?

All out ban needed all over the world. These machines are anti nature. Unbelievable that they would be allowed anywhere.

Tom, it's really lucky for us that people with little or no common sense (like you) are not allowed to make rules for the rest of us.

! agree on an all out ban as I thought they were banned. I didn't want my son to ride this 3-wheeled Yamaha 250 but he did and now he is dead and my grandson has no dad and I have no son! I still see them for sale everywhere-what the hell is the matter with people?

Johnene,
I'm really sorry about your son. Honestly. But look at it from my standpoint.
My brother was run over by a car and killed. People are STILL driving cars and my brother is GONE! I still see them for sale all over the place. What's the matter with people?
