Alaska Sherrifs Issue Warnings to ATV Riders

On Sunday, the Dodge County authorities issued 10 warnings during an enforcement operation on the Wild Goose State Trail. This trail is a shared, multi-use trail that allows both foot and motorized traffic at the same time. That simply means people are allowed to ride quads on it and walk/jog on it at the same time.
While I'm all for respecting those around you, it find it irritating that focus has been on ATV riders exclusively and nothing is said to pedestrians on the trail about not walking 3 wide along the trail, blocking (sometimes on purpose) motorized vehicles from using the trail.
I've been on both sides of this fence. While it's true that ATVers often refuse to slow down for people walking on shared trails, it's also true that people walking on said trails often go out of their way to provoke ATVers. I've seen it first hand as both a hiker and an OHVer.

Any news since January? Are they still hassling ATV riders or have things cooled off a little?
