6 Year Old Without Helmet Crashes and Dies
A 6 year old Pennsylvania child is dead after he fell down 75 feet while not wearing a helmet. I don't know what size the ATV he was riding was, but I doubt it was appropriate for his size and riding skill.
Another sad indication that parents are not taking ATVs serious enough. Another sad indication that ATV enthusiasts are losing the battle of common sense.
Something I didn't know: people under 8 are not allowed to ride motorized vehicles in Pa.

I have boys and I have access to my boyfriends ATV’s. I see numerous alarms here, being: of course the no helmet, being somewhere where there is a huge drop off, a 6 year old shouldn’t be driving by himself, and I don’t know if speed was a factor – but a speed reduction adjustor. Very sad, a memorable day for the child driving an ATV has turned into a nightmare.
